Factory in Jawor

The first Mercedes-Benz engine factory in Poland will be located in the municipality of Jawor, which is situated west of Wrocław in the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone. The new plant will become a part of the network of Mercedes-Benz factories, and produce four-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars. The state-of-the-art factory will combine the highest standards in the automotive industry with the idea of Industry 4.0. The construction work is scheduled to start in 2017, and the plant in Jawor is planned to open at the end of 2019.
