Magdalena Rupik Battery factory I started working at Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland on October 1, 2020 as a fitter. From the beginning, I was motivated to learn and I was eager to explore new areas. My commitment, diligence, and discipline resulted in a fast track promotion to the position of Quality Controller and an upgrade to my responsibilities. Currently, I use a computer to carry out my tasks. I mainly use MS Excel, and have additionally trained in PLA, CAT and QDA. I am glad that this is how my professional career has panned out so far. I think that my current position is going very well, and the duties entrusted in me give me a lot of satisfaction. I feel that my work is necessary and contributes towards the company’s success.
Łukasz Rzepka Engine factory I started working for MBMPL on April 1, 2018 as a Foreman. I completed a 9-month training programme in Anlauffabrik in Stuttgart, where I learned engine construction and conducted IPV – simulation process for the first OM654 Quer engine. When the announcement of internal recruitment for the position of Junior Production Engineer appeared, I decided that I would try my hand. I think that my knowledge in the field of engine construction, graduation from technical studies and, most importantly, a proactive attitude contributed to the promotion. I identify with the motto of the Mercedes-Benz concern “The best or nothing” – I perform the duties entrusted to me to the best of my ability. I appreciate that our company offers great opportunities in raising professional qualifications and provides numerous trainings, both on and off site. I have the privilege of being able to benefit from the vast experience and knowledge of my colleagues. We support each other in everyday duties. Thanks to this, I feel fulfilled and motivated to perform my tasks. I think that working for Mercedes-Benz is the dream of many automotive and mechanic enthusiasts, so I’m very happy to be here.
Jarosław Przychodzeń Engine factory I started my career at MBMPL on June 1, 2019 as a Production Line Fitter. After a year of work, I felt that I had enough knowledge to participate in the internal recruitment process for the Foreman position. In the meantime, I was expanding my skills in the field of Lean Management, the concept of continuous improvement and skilful team management. Currently, I coordinate the work of 8 operators and have formed a harmonious team. Automotive work is one of my interests, and working with engines is a pleasure for me.
Joanna Smolik Engine factory I started working at MBMPL on March 1, 2019. I deal with OM654 engines. The development of production and the plans to introduce a 2-shift system of work opened up new possibilities. After a year of working in the factory, I took part in the internal recruitment process for the position of foreman. My relatives supported me very much in this decision. I have been promoted and continue to work in this area, and my duties consist of taking care of the quality of the manufactured product, maintain the movement of the production line and manage a 10-person team. Working at MBMPL taught me to make decisions under pressure and to be flexible. The production process can be non-standard, and looking for unconventional solutions gives me satisfaction. I value contact with colleagues the most, so the biggest challenge for me is to maintain a high level of communication and a good atmosphere in my area.
Hanna Waszkiewicz Machining Department I started my career in the factory in Jawor on June 1, 2019 as a Measurement Foreman. As the first woman in MBMPL, I was able to participate in the development process, which I completed with a final exam to become Master. During this time I learned many useful skills, such as: time management, planning, communication, decision making, and problem solving. I am glad that my relatives supported me in my promotion. Privately, I am a mother of two children. They give me motivation and strength in striving for further development. The organization of my work, gaining new experience, professional training combined with the organization of home classes and learning for my children is an excellent management practice for me. I am currently working as a Production Master in the Measurement Laboratory in the Processing Department. I coordinate the work of the team, take measurements and deliver results for three machining modules. I am glad that I can develop and motivate others to achieve common goals and good results.

A good atmosphere, good interpersonal relations and appropriate working conditions are factors towards success for me.
Natalia Pastuch Communication and PR Department I started my professional career on April 1, 2019 as the first intern in the HR Department at MBMPL. I completed my studies in management and the profile of human resource management helped me better find myself in the HR department. During the phase of building the factory with the team in Jawor, I could not complain about a lack of tasks. My commitment, consistency and openness to new challenges were appreciated after a few months – I was hired as a Junior Specialist in the HR Department. A friendly atmosphere in the HR Department, cordiality with colleagues, a series of trainings and appropriate work tools were conducive to my development. Since July 1, 2021 I have been working in the Communication and PR Department at MBMPL. I value constant contact with people on a daily basis, and my overriding value is caring for each employee. I am motivated by their satisfaction and smiles. I am proud to belong to the MBMPL team. It is created by wonderful people who are full of passion and identifying in their work with the slogan “The Best or Nothing”.
Anna Frąckowiak HR Department Why did I choose to work at Mercedes? I knew that the more difficult it was, the greater the development that lay ahead. I started working as a Recruitment Specialist. My task at a glance – Recruit everyone! There was no website, no recruitment system … just the idea of a greenfield project – there isn’t anything, you have to create it. There were many tasks waiting for me from the beginning. I went to the plant in Kecskemét and a recruitment system was created. The sister company in Warsaw organized a website; we bought an advertisement package from one of the recruitment websites / portals. We were on the right path. Approximately 300 people apply for each advertisement. A powerful response. We selected the best candidates who had sufficient skills to work in a dynamic and newly emerging environment. A wave of recruiting successes, everything was going according to plan. It was a lot of work, but also gave great satisfaction. The company grows stronger. There are other projects, not only recruitment, which provide an opportunity to demonstrate other abilities and competences. I was promoted to Senior Specialist. It’s nice to be appreciated. Soon I will be nominated to the development program for a managerial role. Like every person aspiring to a managerial position at MBMPL, I underwent a training cycle that ended with an all-day competency assessment. I successfully passed this difficult stage. I was promoted to the position of Recruitment Manager and HR Business Partner. There comes a time of testing managerial skills not only in theory but also in practice. Currently, I am managing a team of 4. All achieved in just 4 years. One thing is for sure: my development at Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland has skyrocketed, like Mercedes electric car sales.
Maciej Płuciennik Battery factory I graduated from a technical school in electrical engineering. I have been working at MBMPL since September 2020 as a Battery Fitter on the PB300 line. At the beginning of February 2021 I joined the team of Battery Technicians. My duties include the dismantling and analysis of the batteries that come through our department. It is an interesting and challenging job that gives me great satisfaction. The friendly atmosphere in the Battery Department makes me very happy. I am glad that the factory enables me to improve my qualifications and gain new experiences. This motivates me to further develop and work towards my fullest abilities.
Edyta Karamon HR Department I was hired as one of the first employees as an HR Specialist in February 2017. Initially, I was responsible for personnel administration, the process of calculating the remuneration of local employees and employees from Germany. After about 1.5 years, my supervisor encouraged me to participate in the Assessment Centre process. Thanks to this, since January 1, 2019, I have been fulfilling myself as a Payroll and Human Resources Manager. I think that my commitment and professional experience contributed to this success. I must admit that the beginnings were difficult. Due to the extensive organizational structure, I did not fully see where my role began. Over time, my scope of tasks stabilized and I was able to perform the duties of manager more and more efficiently. Today I can say that the work I do is a dream come true. Currently, I coordinate the work of the team responsible for personnel administration, working time and calculating remuneration for MBMPL employees. In addition, I am responsible for internal control processes in the Human Resources and Payroll Departments. In my daily duties, I am supported by a team of 6 people, which is dynamically developing under my supervision. The greatest achievement for me as a supervisor is the feeling that my employees are full of initiative and passion. I consider internal development to be my greatest success. I had to face many challenges, including the implementation of the HR and payroll system from scratch. Working in a company such as Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland gives me a sense of fulfillment and motivates me which allows me to come to work with a smile.
Maciej Górski QM Department I started working at MBMPL in February 2020 as a Junior Battery Analysis Engineer. Currently, I am dealing with the creation, improvement of processes, and the development of the QM zone for analyzes and testing, confirming the quality of the production process as well as securing production during problems on the line. In addition, my daily duties include analyzing possible errors in new and advertised batteries, implementing new projects and many other things related to this. As an Elektrofachkraft mit Fachverantwortung (Electrical Specialist) I am responsible for the entire QM zone, I am also responsible for the safety of working with batteries. This means that all work instructions, the implementation of new work tools and working methods must be approved by me. I have never worked in such a large corporation before. At first, I felt that I was throwing myself in at the deep end. However, I am determined, I conscientiously fulfill my obligations and I can overcome difficulties. I am glad that every day I have the opportunity to do what I love, and my colleagues consider me a specialist in this field. My work has an impact on the end product, which is the car someone will use to take their children to school or go on vacation with the family. That is why I am 100% committed when I come to work. I know that the quality of my tasks has an impact on other people’s lives. I would like to add to the success of my studies in Great Britain and a promotion to the position of an expert in MBMPL. The opportunity to develop in an area where there are few specialists, which will play a large role in the daily lives of car users is something that makes me feel motivated to work.
