“We thank the investor for the trust he gave us towards the implementation of the first technologically advanced Mercedes engine factory outside Germany. For more than 30 years we have been active in all areas of construction but the building of industrial and civil infrastructures, which make up the driving force of the Polish economy, is giving us particular satisfaction. Investments such as this need well developed networks of highways and motorways STARBAG has been instrumental in the involvement and implementation of the biggest road construction projects in Poland. The S3 motorway, built by STRABAG played a significant part in the choosing of the location for the Mercedes factory. To this day we have already built 67 km of this crucial communication artery for Poland and another segment of more than 13 km is under construction” – Alfred Watzl, Member of the Board of STRABAG Sp. z o.o.
