The patronage class of mechatronics started apprenticeships in the factory

They are interested in automotive, automation and robotics. A year ago, they started studying in the patron class of Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland with a mechatronics profile at the District Centre for Vocational and Continuing Education in Jawor. From September 2020, 2 girls and 28 boys have an internship at the Mercedes factory twice a week.

The first class included theoretical and practical classes in school studios. Now, under the supervision of foremen and operators, 30 second-class students of PCKZiU mechatronics, a patron class of Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland, acquire new skills, learn about the departments of the Jawor factory and learn simple assembly operations.

The internships are an opportunity for me to develop, from the very beginning I have been involved in various tasks. I work with experienced employees who are happy to share their knowledge. Thanks to this, I feel like a full member of the team – says one of the apprentices.

In the third class, the number of hours spent in the Mercedes factory in Jawor will be increased. Graduates will have the qualifications and skills needed to work on production lines using modern technologies.
