Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland as a part of She’s Mercedes initiative supported “Women’s Faces” project.
Its idea is to promote entrepreneurial women who have an impact on the economic development of the Lower Silesia region and companies that adhere to the principles of equality. As part of the project implemented 5 years ago, regular meetings and an annual edition of the “Women’s Faces” business contest and ranking are organized. The votes are awarded to business owners, women managing companies, presidents of foundations and associations, women debuting in business, and products for women and companies that support the idea of equality.
The laureates and winners of this year’s elections received prizes during a gala held on December 10 at the Książ Castle in Wałbrzych. In the “Personality” category, one of the nominees was Melanie Schenkel on account of her social and charity involvement. The special prize She’s Mercedes for “Women in Innovative Technologies” went to Aleksandra Przegalińska PhD from the Kozmisnki University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
