The President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, awarded Ewa Łabno-Falęcka PhD the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The award ceremony took place at the Residence of the German Ambassador in Warsaw. Rolf Nikel, Ambassador of Germany in Poland, stressed in the laudation: As the Head of Communication and External Affairs of Mercedes-Benz Polska, for many years of your professional, and above all social work, you have earned a remarkable contribution to the agreement between Germany and Poland.
The Order was established in 1951 by the first President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Theodor Heuss, as an award for German citizens and foreigners for outstanding contribution in the fields of: politics, culture or socio-economics.
