17th Poviat Educational Fair, organized on the 22nd of March in Jawor, was a good oportunity to get to know the offer of the Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland patronage class with the profile of Mechatronics. It is being created in cooperation with the Regional Center for Vocational and Continuing Education in Jawor. The class will start on September this year!

Mechatronics is the profession of the future. Employers need qualified production employees, efficiently serving modern computer controlled devices. Therefore, since the beginning of the construction of the factory in Jawor, the company has invested in long-term educational cooperation with technical and vocational schools. In the letter of intent signed in December, the District Office in Jawor, PCKZiU and MBMPL declared to comply with the improvement of the Mechatronic training program.

According to the plan, in the next school year 2019/2020, a professional class will be established at PCKZiU under the patronage of the company managing the Jawor Mercedes-Benz engine factory. The details of the curriculum and the graduate’s professional profile are being developed between the Centre and the MBMPL production department. Practical classes will take place in the Jawor factory under the supervision of MBMPL specialists and at the PCKZiU laboratories, which Mercedes-Benz Poland supply with modern teaching equipment.

Informational activities related to recruitment for the newly founded classes began three months ago. In January, the first meeting for parents of potential candidates took place at the Junior High School No. 2 in Jawor, and in March during the Open Day for women in Legnica one could visit the stand of the class and learn key information.
