The team from the Quality and Production Department of Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland carried out a comprehensive renovation of a 1989 Mercedes W201, purchased by the company as part of the “2nd life @MBMPL” project. Work on the restoration of the vehicle lasted three weeks. During this time, all rust was removed, the windshield was replaced, the steering column was checked and the engine was overhauled. The renewed Mercedes W201 was publicly presented for the first time on June 22 in Jawor, during the Elegance Competition of the XVIII Congress of the Club of Vintage Mercedes Benz Poland StarDrivePoland2019. The rally was an excellent opportunity to present the results of such great teamwork.

The Mercedes W201 will be part of the company’s MBMPL car fleet.
