The first Mercedes-Benz engine and batteries for electric cars factory in Poland is located in the municipality of Jawor, which is situated west of Wrocław in the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone. The plant is a part of the network of Mercedes-Benz factories, and produce four-cylinder gasoline, diesel engines and batteries for electric cars for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars.

In this year's fourteenth edition of the Top Brand 2021 ranking, Mercedes-Benz again turned out to be the strongest automotive brand through media analysis, and took 10th place in the overall ranking.
