Factory in Jawor
The first Mercedes-Benz engine and batteries for electric cars factory in Poland is located in the municipality of Jawor, which is situated west of Wrocław in the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone. The plant is a part of the network of Mercedes-Benz factories, and produce four-cylinder gasoline, diesel engines and batteries for electric cars for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars.
"Girls GO Technology" - the Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland project, carried out in cooperation with Kawałek Świata - Media agency, took first place in the PR Wings competition, in the corporate PR category.

The second patronage class of Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland – an electromechanical – has started
The Mercedes-Benz factory supports education in the region. Since 2019, mechatronics are trained at the Poviat Vocational and Continuing Education Center in Jawor, under the patronage of the engine factory. This year, another educational project of Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland has started.
At the 16th Annual Conference of the Automotive Industry organized by the Polish Chamber of Automotive Industry our company received two awards: Investment of the Year 2020 for an engine factory and Investment of the Year 2021 for a battery factory. We are very happy that we have been appreciated!
Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland is a partner of the 11th edition of the "50 Most Creative People in Business" ranking organized by Brief.pl.
• 5th edition of the ecological competition Eko Gwiazda / Jawor edition resolved.
• The jury assessed the works of students from secondary schools in the following regions: Jawor, Legnica, Świdnica and Wałbrzych.
• The winner was Eliza Gałka from High School No. 1 in Jawor.

It is logical that the next #Girls GO Technology workshop took place online. As learning moved almost entirely online, participants in the Girls GO Technology program turned their rooms into small front-end offices for a few hours and expanded their programming knowledge.

On February the 4th in the Regional Museum in Jawor, Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland inaugurated the third edition of the project "Girls Go Technology". The first meeting attracted 80 young women!
A class with a profile related to the construction of engines and batteries for electric cars will be created at the Automotive School Complex in Legnica.
30 students started their education in the first class of mechatronics specialization in the District Centre for Vocational and Continuing Education (PCKZiU) in Jawor. The class is held under the patronage of Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland.
